450,000 Danes own cryptocurrencies – but where do the politicians stand?
Nearly half a million Danes already own cryptocurrency, yet it remains unclear how politicians support this growing group of voters. At Nordic Blockchain Association, we are taking steps to provide transparency and foster dialogue around crypto ownership and regulation.

Blockchain and digital assets are no longer a niche phenomenon. They are technologies shaping investments, businesses, growth, and Denmark’s digital infrastructure. Despite this, Danish voters lack clarity on where politicians stand on issues affecting crypto owners and crypto companies in Denmark. To address this, Nordic Blockchain Association has launched Kryptolisten, an initiative that highlights which politicians support the 450,000 citizens who already own cryptocurrency and the businesses driving this sector.

The full overview will be published on Thursday, March 19.

Data from our Nordic Crypto Adoption Survey 2025 shows that around 450,000 Danes own cryptocurrency, and on Monday, March 23 at 11:00 AM (the day before the Danish Parliament election) we will present updated figures on crypto ownership in Denmark during Nordic Crypto Adoption Week 2026.

With nearly half a million citizens already engaged with the technology, voters deserve to see politicians’ positions on key issues such as clear and up-to-date tax rules for individual crypto investors and regulatory clarity for businesses operating in the Danish blockchain and crypto space.

Kryptolisten allows politicians to signal their support for this growing community and contribute to a constructive dialogue about the future of the crypto and digital assets industry in Denmark.

If you are a politician and wish to be included in Kryptolisten, you can register here.

By increasing transparency, we aim to empower citizens, support businesses, and strengthen Denmark’s position as an innovative and regulated hub for blockchain, crypto, and digital assets.
