
The main theme was to showcase how leading Danish companies, researchers, and entrepreneurs are already using blockchain, in order to increase understanding of the technology and highlight the positive impact it has on Danish society.
The line-up of speakers included:
- Peter Timm Kejser Hartz from A.P. Moller – Maersk: Blockchain technology will become a global standard at Maersk by 2030.
- Rune Christensen from Sky: Denmark must adapt to blockchain and Web3 innovation in order to remain competitive and drive growth.
- Kurt Nielsen and Søren Eller Thomsen from Partisia: Reducing financial crime through the use of blockchain infrastructure.
- Martin von Haller Grønbaek from Bird & Bird:Denmark’s role and opportunities within a European blockchain infrastructure that can strengthen data sovereignty.
- Morten Rongaard from PixelPai: Digital life, identity, and ownership on the blockchain—major industries are already using blockchain, often without people realizing it.
- Niels Holck from Green Island Group: The green energy transition and investments through blockchain networks.
- Loretta Joseph from The Commonwealth: International regulation of digital assets and blockchain.
We thank the Danish parliament and Mohammad Rona for a really exciting day and for facilitating the interaction between Industry and elected representatives. This is a continued step to develop a strong Tech sector in Denmark and attract and retain founders, companies and attract talents and capital.
