We’re proud to announce that Nordic Blockchain Association joins this select group as the sole non-profit industry association alongside Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum Foundation, Avalanche Foundation, Stellar Development Foundation, Dfinity Foundation, Kraken, Blockchain for Good Alliance, and other esteemed organisations in this space.
The Blockchain Advisory Group - a new senior-level advisory forum convened by the UNDP, gathering 26 leading organisations from the global blockchain ecosystem - will convene twice a year to examine how blockchain technologies can help address development challenges, support digital infrastructure, and strengthen public systems.
This purpose aligns directly with our mission and daily work at Nordic Blockchain Association - to ensure the responsible adoption and positive real-world impact of blockchain technologies, and to bring Nordic perspectives, values, and expertise to the global stage through the work we (and our members) carry out across the Nordic and Baltic regions.
Thank you to the UNDP’s Haoliang Xu, Francine Pickup, and Robert Pasicko for facilitating last week’s inaugural meeting in Paris.
And congratulations to the UNDP and especially the UNDP AltFinLab team Robert Pasicko, Burcu Mavis, Teodor Petricevic, Hajdana Imrovic, Paul Kruegel, Svetla Baeva, Chiara Laffi, and Manal Humedin for your tireless work and this landmark achievement.
