Starkly contrasting Finland's record-setting adoption rates in 2025 of 526.000 crypto owners (corresponding to 11% of the adult population), data from the 2026 Finnish Crypto Adoption Survey reveals a significant decline in crypto adoption.

A few highlights:

• 380.000 adults in Finland now own crypto (8% of the adult population).
• This is a decrease of 145.000 owners since the 2025 survey.
• The estimated Finnish crypto wealth is €5 billion (or $5.8 billion).
• Nevertheless, 23% of adults in Finland expect to own crypto in the next 10 years.
